It’s both a privilege and an honour to serve as Captain of Elland Golf Club for this 2025-26. I am proud to represent such a distinguished club with rich traditions, a thriving membership, and a strong spirit of camaraderie.
Golf is more than just a game – it’s about friendship, respect, and community. That’s what makes Elland Golf Club so special. Whether you’re a lifelong member or a new face, or just visiting the golf club, I want you to feel at home here.
One of the great joys of this role is seeing how our members come together – not just for the love of the game, but to support one another and make a real difference beyond the course. That’s why I’m proud to support Overgate Hospice as my chosen charity for the year. Overgate is a local organisation providing compassionate care to those facing difficult times in their lives. Many of us know the impact of their vital work, and I hope we can all come together through events and fundraising efforts to support this wonderful cause.
We have an exiting year of golf and social events ahead for players of all ages and abilities. Whether you’re a long-standing member or new to the club, I encourage you to get involved and make the most of everything Elland has to offer.
