I would like to extend a warm welcome to all Ladies whether they are guests or possible new members to our Ladies section. Elland Golf Club is a flat parkland course surrounded by trees and attractive shrubbery. Everything is kept in excellent condition by our greens staff. You will find a friendly helpful team in the clubhouse where you can choose from a varied menu, relax and socialise. The Ladies have reserved tees on Thursday’s when we play competitions for medals, trophies and sometimes just for fun. Every year we hold a ladies ‘Pink Day’ for Breast Cancer Charities this year it is to be held on the 15th July. We also hold a Ladies Invitation day which is on Thursday 16th May. Throughout the year we have various mixed friendlies with our Gentlemen members which are always fun.
I will be working hard throughout the year alongside the Captain, Stephen Taylor and the Rabbit Captain Allan Oldfield to raise funds for our chosen charity which is Kirkwood Hospice. I look forward to working with my committee and I’d like to thank all the Ladies who have offered freely their support and help throughout my year. I wish you all a healthy and happy golfing year.
